On April 18, 2015, I married my best friend. We had been together since university, a bit more than five years. After a year and four months of planning, this was it. We both wanted an intimate celebration with our closest family and friends. It also had to be affordable, nothing too crazy. The ceremony was held at St. Ignatius of Loyola and the reception was at The Glenerin Inn in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. We opted for a morning wedding with a lunch reception.
I had been busy the night before preparing some decorations at the reception hall. My bridesmaids and I got a suite together at the inn so we could just get up and start getting ready right away (we had to be up by 6AM!). I got only six hours of sleep that night thinking about all those little details (no matter how much I told myself that this should NEVER happen… it did anyway). Whatever, everything worked out and I amazed I still looked great on the wedding day 😏
One of my bridesmaids Kanita did my makeup for me. We practiced a few times beforehand and I am so happy she nailed the look!
Meanwhile, at the church…
Some photos on the way out of the inn:
